ZEM House

The ZEM (Zero-EMissions) House Project is a multidisciplinary senior project in sustainability. Faculty and Students from the Departments of Business, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering and Public Policy are working together to design and build a prototype of a 100 sqare foot "house" on the SJSU campus during the 2010/11 academic year.

This website is the place where the team will inform the greater SJSU, Bay Area, and global communities about the progress on the project. You will be able to find out detailed info about how the project was funded, the funding organization, the team working on the project, as well as project updates, news, and sucesses. We'll be posting images and information as we move through the project during the next 9 months. Please check the site regularly to watch the house be designed, tested, and built. You can also link to our blog and other social media sites through the news link above and interact with the team as they move along.
